Join Active Trans at a town hall event where transit riders will be invited to voice their concerns about the Chicago transit system to a panel of elected officials and community leaders.

How can our transit system play a greater role in the fight for clean air, racial equity, and a strong economy?

When: Saturday, March 2, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Doors open at 12:30 p.m. Please join us then to share your transit story to be recorded on video and for an art activity prior to the program starting at 1 p.m.

There will be sign language and Spanish language interpretation at the event.

Questions to consider when voicing your concerns:

  • What are your experiences — and the experiences others in your community — when using transit?

  • What’s your vision for improving transit?

  • How would greater investment in our transit system benefit transit workers?
