Join Better Streets Chicago as we spread the word about the Lakefront and DuSable Lake Shore Drive Community Visioning Survey! We're distributing palm cards advertising the survey to commuters throughout the city in an effort to gather community feedback on the present and future of the lakefront parks and DuSable Lake Shore Drive.

North DLSD is scheduled to be completely rebuilt in the coming years. Unfortunately, the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is only proposing plans that reinforces the status quo: a highway through the lakefront parks. Better Streets Chicago is leading advocacy for an alternative vision that transforms DLSD into a multimodal boulevard instead of locking a highway for generations to come.

Better Streets Chicago is closing the survey on March 1, so we're making a last big push to collect responses from as many residents as possible.

The DLSD Survey - South & Southwest Side Transit Canvass entails distributing palm cards with information about the survey to commuters at several neighborhood transit centers. We will meet at a central location to pass out materials. The meeting location is the listed Event Location.
