Redefine the Drive: North Lake Shore Drive

IDOT and CDOT are currently developing plans to re-imagine North Lake Shore Drive. Better Streets Chicago believes the current proposals leave much to be desired, and are working to encourage the project’s planners to go back to the drawing board to develop proposals that better prioritize different forms of transportation, and not just cars.

While most of the project’s input opportunities are currently closed, the project’s public comment form is still accepting submissions. New opportunities are expected to be introduced throughout the project development lifecycle. You can visit NLSDinput.org for the most up-to-date list of feedback opportunities.
